Holmdel Township is a picturesque agricultural community rooted in a contemporary suburban setting.</p>

Parks and recreation are an integral part of the enriched way of life in the community. The township’s 565-acre centerpiece, Holmdel Park, is home to 11 trails for walking, hiking, biking and horseback riding. The ten miles of trails wind through historic Longstreet Farm and the 22-acre David C. Shaw Arboretum, a.k.a Holmdel Arboretum.

The PNC Bank Arts Center hosts a numerous summer concerts at the uniquely designed amphitheater and illuminates the grounds every December for the annual Holiday Lights Spectacular.

Dining in the township is quite diversified and offers flavors of Italy, China, the Mediterranean, and American cuisines.

Shopping in Holmdel is predominantly in the northeast sector of the township with hundreds of department stores, boutiques, salons and spas along Route 35. Holmdel Town Center is one of the largest shopping destinations in the community.

Lodging options, such as the Holmdel Motor Inn and Holiday Inn, are located along Route 35 and offer accommodations at a reasonable price.
